About this project

Gitta Bertram from Stiftung KULTURLABOR is responsible for this project

“Halle 16” is a former industrial space that is now open for artistic and cultural endeavours. Workshops, exhibitions and events take place on a regular basis and can be organised by anyone. We are particularly happy about cooperations with artists, or institutions like dance, music or art schools. Regional artists find an experimental space for their art here. We give emerging artists a stage to promote their exciting and innovative art.

Many volunteers run this place together and fill this site with art and creativity.  We need money for the performing artists of the many events we host. With your contribution you ensure that art and culture is both free for everyone and artists are paid fairly. All our events are on a donation basis.

The project only exists until December 2024, but many interested people have already announced their participation and a great programme is evolving. Check out our homepage: halle-16.de
