Journalism for togetherness
Kohero is a non-profit cross-media company that focuses on flight and migration in Germany. As people with our own migration history, we want to share our experiences and the perspectives of people like us with a flight and migration background in Germany.
Because people with a history of migration and flight have been significantly underrepresented in the media so far. We want to change that.
In addition to our online articles, in which we publish 4 to 5 articles, we have a current podcast for the South Asian community called "Curryon" and another podcast called "Safar" with the Iranian community. We also run an editorial service called "zu.flucht" which covers migration and refugee issues every 6 weeks. In addition, we collect weekly migration news on current issues.
We also publish two print issues every year, highlighting the migrant perspective on various topics such as sports, feminism, labor and education.
Because everyone has a story to tell. Write along, read along, listen along - for more intercultural cohesion.
