We will use your donation to fund counseling and therapy for refugee children, adolescents and families in our Psychosocial Center.
Our problem is: In projects for which we raise funding, we as an association always have to bear an additional share of the costs ourselves. This is usually around 10-30%. If a project costs 10,000 euros, we would therefore have to pay 1,000 to 3,000 euros ourselves, or even 10,000 to 30,000 euros for a 100,000 euro project. This makes it difficult for us to set up offers for refugees.
Your donation will help us to solve this problem. Your donation will be particularly worthwhile on July 14 and 15, 2024. This is because Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg (LzO) will double all individual donations of up to 50 euros received on these two days for our project for refugee children, young people and families.
On this “WirWunder Day”, the LzO will provide a donation pot totaling 15,000 euros, which regional associations in Oldenburg can divide up among themselves. The donation phase starts at 9 a.m. on Friday and runs until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday. The LzO will double your donations until the donation pot is empty.
Your donation enables us to provide counseling or therapy sessions - with a focus on children, young people and families seeking asylum and protection in Germany. The services are provided by a multilingual team from the Counseling & Therapy department. The sessions are held in Ukrainian, Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish, French and many other languages of origin.
