About this project

Zuher Jazmati from VBRG e.V. is responsible for this project
In Germany, six right-wing motivated acts of hate violence occur every day. For those affected, the consequences are often complex and sometimes severe. Our independent victim support centers assist hundreds of victims every year—impartially, professionally, and free of charge.

Through the Victim Support Fund, we also help cover the financial repercussions of such attacks: the broken glasses, dentures, smashed-in front doors, medical reports, legal fees, train tickets to trauma therapy, relocation to safety—and, in some cases, even the cost of a gravestone.

In 2023, we provided over €75,000 in support to more than 100 victims of right-wing, racist, and anti-Semitic violence. We need your help to continue offering the same level of assistance in 2024. Please consider donating—directly and effectively. Every euro truly makes a difference, and every contribution is a meaningful act of solidarity.

What do experts say about the Victim Support Fund?

The VBRG's Victim Support Fund is often the only remaining option for providing those affected with the help they need. - Newroz from the February 19 Initiative Hanau

After an attack, life can fall apart at the seams. Solidarity helps those affected to build bridges and cope better with the consequences of the attack. - Maurice, counselor at the Rhineland Victim Counseling Center

Right-wing attacks often cause financial problems for the victims. In the worst cases, they find themselves in great need. State aid is often non-existent, uncertain or comes too late. The Victim Support Fund enables me as a counselor to help victims quickly and easily. It's really important for my work.
- Matthias, counselor at BEFORE in Munich

Your donation to the Victim Support Fund enables victims to assert their rights with the help of lawyers. The fund is often the only way to take legal action against right-wing, racist or anti-Semitic violence. - Nouara, advisor at response in Frankfurt am Main.

With the Victim Support Fund, we are sending a signal to those affected: We see the injustice you have suffered. You are not alone! As an independent advisory board, we make sure that the donations make this gesture of solidarity possible. - Ünal Zeran, lawyer in Hamburg and member of the Victim Support Fund Advisory Board
