About this project

Tina Mikley from DECHEMA e.V. is responsible for this project
The DECHEMAX competition has existed since 1999, making it the longest-running chemistry competition for middle and upper secondary schools in Germany. Every year, up to 10,000 students from year 7 to the Abitur take part.

The DECHEMAX competition is not an elite competition, it appeals to students from all types of schools and inspires enthusiasm for chemistry, technology and biotechnology. Questions with an everyday relevance and experiments for the kitchen table encourage the teams to try things out and show how important STEM subjects are for our daily lives.

You too can help to continue promoting young talents and support the competition with your donation.
