What we intend to do:
At the kick-off conference, we will address the question of how climate protection and the protection of our environment can be made socially just with the help of a basic income. In particular, we will ask
How should a basic income be designed to strengthen climate protection?
What must climate protection look like in order to strengthen social cohesion?
The kick-off conference "Climate protection meets basic income: Answering the ecological question socially" will take place from 4 to 6 October 2024 at the University of Liechtenstein in Vaduz.
It will address two of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate protection and social justice. We have invited competent experts from the Club of Rome to climate-friendly product manufacturers. We are looking for and developing innovative approaches, ideas and social innovations. The aim is to think ahead to sustainable development by combining climate protection and basic income to bring about positive change in our society. The kick-off conference is open to all interested parties.
We are convinced that it will make a valuable contribution to the implementation of the socio-ecological transformation and thus to achieving the necessary climate and environmental goals.

>>Financial support to cover congress costs (e.g. travel expenses for speakers, room rental, catering)
