About this project

Laura Klapper from Masifunde Bildungsförderung e.V. is responsible for this project
Hey, my name is Kamvelihle Kondlo, I am 22 years old and currently live in Gqeberha, South Africa. Fun fact: this is the only place I have ever lived. But now, I have the exciting opportunity to live and work as a volunteer in Berlin, Germany, for a year. And this is where I need your help! 75% of my exchange is funded, and now I need the remaining 25%. This is where you come in: you can play a crucial role in this (my) story and pave the way for me to go to Germany by donating and following my journey.

Project Goal: Our goal is to support me in carrying out my volunteer service with Masifunde in Berlin. There, I will work as an educational and cultural mediator, helping to develop and implement educational projects that promote intercultural understanding and exchange between South Africa and Germany.

Project Description: I am Kamva, a passionate young man from South Africa with a great enthusiasm for education and cultural exchange. Through my work with Masifunde in Berlin, I will gain valuable experiences, acquire new skills, and simultaneously enrich Masifunde's educational projects with my perspective.

My tasks will include:

  • Supporting the planning and implementation of intercultural educational programs.
  • Participating in projects to promote educational equity and sustainable development.
  • Engaging in exchange and collaboration with students and other volunteers.
  • Organizing events and workshops that foster intercultural dialogue.
