Catsville Cat Rescue Sanctuary

Catsville Cat Rescue Sactuary is a non profit in Bulgaria, dedicated to the welfare of street cats. It is founded by Joanna Arthur and her husband, who moved to Bulgaria, from the UK around 2 years ago. The Rescue is run by them and their two children. When they moved, they brought their 3 cats with them. Having previously seen the conditions and number of stray cats in Bulgaria, they knew they had to do something. They live in a small village in the Dobrich region of Bulgaria and have an acre of land.
Their first rescue kittens were Bandit and Peach. Jo and her husband met a lovely Bulgarian lady at the vets while taking one of their UK cats for a check-up. This was soon after they had arrived in Bulgaria. Violeta, now a very good friend of our Rescuers, had 2 stray sick kittens with her which she couldn't find homes for as she already had 15 cats of her own. They decided to take them. This was the start of Catsville and since then many have turned up on their property, others were brought in after a call for help from those who had rescued some but couldn't keep them. This has led to 22 cats being in their care, that now are family. Due to funding these cats themselves, they are at capacity until they receive help with ongoing costs but there are soo many more in need who they want to help. 
We from Kindness for Kitties want to support the Catsville Rescue Sanctuary, so that they can help even more Kitties in need.
