Making a difference together - Emergency Aid for Refugees from Gaza!

The people in Gaza live in terrible conditions, suffer from hunger and thirst and constantly have to fear for their lives. Many have had to flee several times and almost everyone has lost close relatives. Although a few people have managed to escape abroad, they are completely on their own there.

To counteract this terrible situation, our organisation is active in two areas:

We support people from Gaza who have been able to flee to Egypt or have been evacuated there as medical emergencies. Many of the refugees were seriously injured in the war and initially had to stay in hospitals for months. The few savings people have are now often exhausted and there is no state support. As a result, the refugees lack the most basic necessities and their housing and living conditions are extremely precarious. Together with a partner organisation, we help where the need is greatest - with monthly food packages for 100 families and targeted support for particularly vulnerable people. In order to find out what is really needed, we regularly travel to Cairo and talk to the refugees in person, thereby also showing that we are at your side!

We also provide people in Gaza with essential water! Here, too, we are cooperating with our fantastic Palestinian partner organisation, which has been working in Gaza since 2014. We buy large water canisters from desalination plants every month. These are distributed in refugee camps in Rafah and Khan Younis and can quench the thirst of a total of 750 families!
