The Hymen Myth - printing of an informational brochure

Many young people grow up with misconceptions about the so-called "Jungfern-Häutchen," leading to unnecessary fear, insecurity, and social stigma. These myths contribute to the perpetuation of patriarchal structures that limit women's sexual empowerment and can lead to discrimination and violence.
 
We want to educate young adults, especially those who are affected by hymen myths due to their cultural background or lack of sexual education. The aim is to provide adolescents and young adults with factual knowledge that will help them to make self-determined decisions about their sexuality.

In cooperation with pro familia Berlin, the family planning center Balance and Aktion Mensch, we have developed a brochure that explains the scientific facts about the hymen in simple language and debunks common myths.

In order to make the brochure available to a wide audience, we need financial support for printing. The brochure will be made available to schools, gynecological clinics and counseling centers.

Support us in providing adolescents and young adults with well-founded and culturally sensitive information and thus make an important contribution to sexual education and the promotion of equal rights!

If donations exceed the amount needed to print the brochure, the remaining funds will be used to support educational projects and training for professionals in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
