What are the Hamm walking tours?
Discover your neighbourhood!
Three lovely walking tours show different sides of the central Hamburg neighbourhood of Hamm. There is lots to learn and see, from history and culture to insider tips and green oases.
In 40 pages and five languages (German, English, Persian, Arabic, Ukrainian), you can discover the immense variety Hamm has to offer.

Why is the brochure important, and why should it be free?
Hamm is full of fascinating culture, history, projects, and most of all - people!
We want everyone to feel welcome in the neighbourhood, and neither language nor cost should be a barrier to learning more about Hamm from all sides and perspectives.

How did we cover the cost so far?
The first round of copies have been printed in cooperation with Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Hamburg e.V., and with kind support and sponsorship by Bezirksamt Hamburg-Mitte, Perspektive Hamburg and Deutsche Fernsehlotterie.
We have then distributed the brochures in various places and institutions in the neighbourhood, and they are available for free to anyone interested.

Numbers and facts
The donation goal of 622€ enables us to print 1000 more copies. With those, we can continue to provide residents and anyone interested with the brochures, for free, in many places in the neighbourhood.
