With this project, we want to support Öznur, who takes care of stray cats in Eskişehir, Turkey. She sets up small shelters where the cats have some protection from the sun, rain or cold, feeds the strays and, if she finds a sick or injured cat, she takes care of the medical treatment. Öznur takes the cats to the vet for treatment and takes in cats that can no longer survive on their own outside, or tries to place them. She also organizes sterilizations of street cats. She has been working as a rescuer for about 10 years now and currently cares for about 50 cats. We want to collect donations so that she can continue to help the street cats in Turkey.
