Yes, we do! We, KARUNA eG and Wellbeing for Everyone gUG, want to redistribute money with your help.
Together with 10 homeless people, we have developed a simple, safe and responsible way to donate money to people without their own accommodation. With your support, we will give 10 of our homeless friends at Boxhagener Platz in Berlin a regular donation income.
First of all, the 10 persons will receive used smartphones that are secure and privacy-friendly. Thereafter, they can use their cell phones to access their KARUNI; a tested, secure and digital currency. This allows them, like everyone else in the neighborhood, to shop with their cell phone in a completely self-determined way.
With this Betterplace-appeal, we are collecting donations that will go directly to the 10 beneficiaries. We donate one KARUNI for every euro. When we have collected 1,000 euros, each of them will receive 100 euros for one month. If we collect 10,000 euros, we can extend the period to 10 months.
