Hundreds of sharks are killed every single minute for shark fin soup - also in Europe!
More than 1.1 million citizens helped with their signature for #StopFinningEU to put this severe issue on the European Union's agenda.
But the fight for a trade ban on shark fins is not over yet.
After the EU elections, the cards have been reshuffled as new decision makers are now in charge in the European Parliament and Commission. We need to make sure that these new representatives hear our voice loud and clear: Killing sharks for their fins has to end immediately!
