Since 2014, Berlin Mondiale has been bringing art and culture to people in Berlin's peripheral districts, where cultural offerings and structures are often in short supply. We reach people in underserved areas in Neukölln, Reinickendorf, Spandau, Marzahn and Pankow and promote cultural participation, especially among children and young people.
Our decentralised work is based on inclusion and offers people the opportunity to take part in artistic and cultural activities free of charge - a basic right, not a luxury.
Through decentralised cultural work, we promote cultural participation as a basic right - for everyone, regardless of origin or life situation. But now our work is at risk.
Berlin Mondiale is in acute danger
Budget cuts by the Berlin Senate for 2025 are threatening our existence. Our funding has been cut completely, jeopardising not only our programmes but also the network we have built up over ten years. We cannot continue without your support.
Over the next six months, we urgently need donations to raise new funds and partners. With your help, we can secure the future of Berlin Mondiale!

Maintaining contact and networks
Even if we are temporarily unable to offer artistic programmes, our relationships with neighbourhoods and cultural institutions remain essential. Your donation helps us to maintain these connections and preserve the basis for future projects.
Securing our team and expertise
A core team must be maintained in order to continue working strategically. We need people to submit funding applications, maintain political contacts and recruit new supporters. With your help, Berlin Mondiale will remain able to act.
Stabilise operational processes
Rents, wages and running costs are essential in order to remain operational during this transitional period. Your support guarantees that we can continue to organise, plan and actively shape the future.
