Seit der Wintersaison 2023/2024 betreibt der Skiclub Burgberg eine alpine Renngruppe. Dort können die ambitionierten Kinder an Skirennen in der Region teilnehmen. Dieses immer noch dem Breitensport zuzurechnende Training bedarf abgesperrten Skipisten damit Sicherheit besteht.
