Arruda is a queer-feminist BIPoc-centered project with an intersectional approach.
Arruda is supported by the non-profit association KuBiB e.V through various initiatives.
The central political focus of our work is the anti-discriminatory seminar house, in which we offer space for people affected by discrimination and / or those fighting against discrimination to meet, gather, organize workshops, organize themselves or to retreat ... We are committed to creating a space that is sensitive to discrimination, we make sure that our rooms are as barriers-free as possible and we are constantly working on dismantling them.
Besides providing the space, we also organize our own workshops and events.
With these we bring together anti-racism fights and queer feminist struggles.
We stand against gender oppression, ableism, capitalism, (neo-)colonialism, classism, deportation and climate change.
We strive for an intersectional awareness of privilege, access to resources and accessibility.
We ask for your economic support to extend the exterior lighting of our site, the interior lighting and the accessibility of our seminar house.
