General foundation work & project development

750 million people are currently affected by tinnitus worldwide, 3 million in Germany alone, and hundreds of thousands more are affected every year. The main reason for this is that many people do not realise how quickly tinnitus or other inner ear disorders can be caused by stress, tension in the cervical spine or knee joints, noise at work or at leisure, but also by middle ear infections, diabetes or high blood pressure. We want to do something about this. Because living with constant ringing in the ears is torture. 

We support research projects into the causes, initiate scientific dialogues and develop ongoing prevention and education projects. 

This work is only possible because we have received support from many companies and private individuals over the past 14 years - the foundation does not receive any public funding. Of course, we would like not only to continue this work in the coming years, but also to expand it in order to reach even more people and be able to help even faster and better. We endeavour to keep expenditure on staff, back office and communication as low as possible; we are a very small team and many volunteers.
