UNBROKEN: A Second Chance for War-Injured Children in Ukraine
The Problem
Since the beginning of the war, millions of Ukrainians have been displaced, including many children who were severely injured by explosions, missile strikes, and landmines. St. Nicholas Children's Hospital in Lviv is one of the key facilities caring for these young victims. Over 6,000 displaced children have been treated here, including 360 with severe war injuries such as amputations and complex trauma.
Many urgently need prosthetics, surgeries, and rehabilitationβbut resources are limited.

Who We Help
Take 11-year-old Yana Stepanenko, for example, who lost both legs in a missile attack. Thanks to modern prosthetics, she can walk againβand even participated in the Tokyo Marathon!
