No child in the world should die of hunger.
And yet around 2 million children die from malnutrition every year. Food shortages, environmental disasters, wars and conflicts are increasing the need and more and more people are dependent on support to feed themselves and their families.
You can make a big difference with just €4.90
Because this small amount provides a malnourished child with a vitamin and protein-rich peanut paste for a week. A child needs 2 packs of peanut paste a day. A daily ration costs just €0.70.
And yet around 2 million children die from malnutrition every year. Food shortages, environmental disasters, wars and conflicts are increasing the need and more and more people are dependent on support to feed themselves and their families.

Because this small amount provides a malnourished child with a vitamin and protein-rich peanut paste for a week. A child needs 2 packs of peanut paste a day. A daily ration costs just €0.70.
- 0,70€ = 1x daily ration of peanut paste for one child
- 4,90€ = 1x weekly ration of peanut paste for one child
- 39,20€ = This is enough to treat a child for 8 weeks. Within this period, 92% of the children treated in this way recover.
- 980€ = This enables us to supply 25 children with peanut paste over the entire treatment period.
- The peanut paste helps malnourished children to absorb important nutrients and recover within a very short time. Together we can tackle malnutrition in children.

IRC is on the ground in all affected regions and helps malnourished children to recover. Thanks to our aid centres and programmes against malnutrition, we are able to reach and support around 2.9 million malnourished people in 21 regions of the world every year.
