    About this project

    m. heinig from leftvision e.V. is responsible for this project
In Odessa least 48 people died in a fire on May 2. A right-wing mob threw molotov cocktails at the union hall, located in the anti-government activists had fled.

But what exactly happened on 2 May in Odessa? Who were the organizers? And what their objective? - We are now creating a documentary about this key-event of the Ukrainian Civil War - and we ask for your support.

The German journalist Ulrich Heyden, who lives since 1992 in Moscow and the Ukraine has traveled frequently, and a team of Left vision work together on the documentary, which will be released later this year.

There are initial indications that the attack on the opponents of the government, were master-prepared, organized a punitive action, which seems to have succeeded. The people who are still tens of thousands for a federalization of Ukraine went in March and April on the street are silent except for a few hundred activists.

The democratic and left forces in Ukraine are weakened and at risk of persecution. There is a risk that the country is sliding into an ultra-nationalist dictatorship.

We want to create and arouse public - we do extensive research and the operations are critically - for all this we need your help! With a donation and the spread of this video allow it extensive translations, travel costs and the technical preparation of the material. Become a sponsor of this film project and prevent in that way, that the cruel events of Odessa displaced, twisted or can be forgotten.
