As everyone has seen on the news, the effects of the earthquake in Nepal have been devastating. Nepal is a country with poor infrastructure and high levels of poverty and the people desperately need support to rebuild their lives and communities after this terrible event.
The Women's Foundation of Nepal is a non-governmental non-profit organisation lead by a group of inspirational women. Since 1988 they have run a large number of projects that support the women and children of Nepal.
Since the earthquake struck on 25 April, small local teams have provided food, water and shelter to communities across Nepal affected by the earthquake. In the long term, the Women's Foundation will provide financial and emotional support to help families in the local communities rebuild their lives.
Please donate generously to this worthwhile cause. Your donation to this local, women-lead organisation has a direct impact on the lives of all Nepalese people and goes straight to where the money is needed most.
