About this project

The title is pretty self-explanatory but here are a few words to convince you to part with a Euro or two:
There are about 63,000 homeless women in Germany, and many of them can't afford basic toiletries for Mother Nature's monthly call.
Whilst we appreciate the tireless charity work that goes on throughout the country, it is still sad to see how specific women's needs are often overlooked by charities and the government alike, with food and shelter being on top of the priorities list. And when you only have a bit of loose change to live on, homeless women often can't afford to stretch beyond these necessities themselves.
Our project aims to make that time of the month for homeless women a little less uncomfortable. We are hoping that with small donations from a lot of people, we can afford to provide sanitary pads and tampons to the ladies of Germany when in need.
YOUR DONATIONS will help send ladies' toiletries to various organisations and institutions which help the homeless around Germany, starting off in Berlin with the institution calles "GEBEWO Soziale Dienste Berlin". Our goal is to make sure that every woman has a "cotton wool mouse" in her back pocket for emergencies.
If you don't want to donate money, then maybe you could just tell a friend about our page if you think it's a good idea. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading, and please spread the word.
