SOS Humanity - Together against dying in the Mediterranean!

We are a civilian sea rescue organisation committed to a world in which everyone's human rights are respected. We are dedicated to ensure that no one has to drown at sea and that everyone is treated with dignity.

We regularly go on search and rescue missions with our rescue ship, the Humanity 1. We rescue people who find themselves in distress at sea while fleeing across the Mediterranean, provide them with clothing and food on board and give them medical and psychological support. We educate the public about the inhumane consequences of European migration policy and stand up for the rights of people fleeing across the sea at a political level.

This is how your donation can support civilian search and rescue:
15 € can provide warm blankets for two survivors on board.
30 € can cover the cost of treating serious wounds such as chemical burns, petrol burns, gunshot wounds or torture wounds for one survivor.
60 € will finance the provision of life jackets for a parent and child.
123 € enable the medical care and examination of a survivor on board.
300 € will provide two warm meals each for 200 survivors on board.
