Background of this project:
In 2012 our association Servir e.V. decided to support building a dispensary anda primary school in Punda Milia. As the small village is 10km away from the next bigger city Makuyu, pupils and ill people have trouble to get there. The main building is already finished and the dispensary is opening soon. Also the primary school, which was donated by Servir and the spanish organization Manos Unidas, is nearly done. Now it is time for the interiors and furniture,which still needs to be financed, so that the pupils can start learning there in 2017. From then the school will be extended year by year with the help of our pupils here in Germany.
Who are we?
Servir e.V. is a charity association ar the Gymnasium Maria Königin in Lennestadt to establish the idea of "One World". Its goals are to create consciousness for problems in developing countries and supports projects in Kenya and Brazil.
