About this project

J. Zielbauer from Anopa e.V. is responsible for this project
+++HELP US BUILD A POOL TO TEACH AFRICAN CHILDREN HOW TO SWIM+++

More than 70 percent of African people don't know how to swim and are afraid of the sea and pools.
Especially in cities close to the beaches, like Cape Coast, this represents a significant risk to the citizens.

It’s shocking that almost every week children drown at our beaches.

Who we are:
international NGO in Ghana;  professionally trained local and foreign instructors who address the needs of each individual swimmer

What we want:
improve the life conditions of children in the region of Cape Coast through sports and educational programs

What we need:
In order to give every child around Cape Coast the opportunity to learn how to swim we need our own Anopa-Pool as soon as possible!

What we promise:
Every cent spent will be invested in the pool and the pool only.
