Established in 1906 by a well known philanthropist, Boosa school currently has 150 local students of mix gender, from ages 6 to 17. The school provides education to the children with deprived backgrounds and of low income families such as fishermen, single mothers and the unemployed, who would not be able to afford school fees otherwise.
