A community health center for Siraha, Nepal

Dear All, 
we ask for support for the project of our friend Sandarva Giri in Nepal. Sandarva finished his medical studies in Kathmandu this year and, together with other young doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers and other people, started the project "Bastipur Grameen Swasthya Kendra". BGSK is a non-profit organization founded in October 2017 https://bgsknepal.org/ Siraha is a little developed region in the southeast of Nepal. This is also noticeable in the health system and education. 

The majority of the population work in agriculture and the standard of living is very low. The treatment in a few private hospitals in the area can not afford most of the people living there. The project wants to ensure basic health care through the prevention, early detection and treatment of disease, as well as the creation of a general health awareness through seminars in their own classrooms 

 

At the moment it is urgently needed to buy a power generator, an oxygen and sterilization unit, a laptop and the completion of the treatment room. 

Of course, it is also possible to actively support the project at any time - not only in the medical field. If you are interested or have any questions, feel free to contact us or directly to the project participants. 

 

We ourselves plan to visit the project as soon as possible and will tell you what was financed with the money.
