Permaculture- and Peace-Village for East-Africa

OTEPIC was founded in 2008 as a self-help project in the slums of Kitale, a town in NW Kenya. 
From the start, the founder, Philip Munyasia, mobilized people from the city's slums, where he 
still lives today.  He gives the people a perspective and shows how to feed yourself in a sustainable way. 

We are deeply moved by the commitment of the OTEPIC team.
Today OTEPIC offers training in permaculture, runs permaculture gardens at four locations,
looks after 23 orphan children, provides free clean drinking water for 3,000 people,
offers free food for street children, organizes tree planting, provided four washing- & info-stations
against Covid19 on the streets of Mitume and much more...
                                                                     
OTEPIC has become a beacon of hope for all of East Africa.
The demand for knowledge about permaculture is constantly increasing.
In order to pass on these vital experiences to many people, OTEPIC is building up an Eco- Village
that is financed almost exclusively by donations.
