Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 12th Tolkien Days on the Lower Rhine cannot take place as usual this year. Unfortunately, not everything could be cancelled free of charge and so we have expenses that cannot not be refinanced. As a non-profit organisation on voluntary basis, we are now trying to raise money through donations.
We do not want to cancel this fantastic event we all love so much! Therefore we will host the Tolkien Days 2020 from June 5th to 7th, not in Pont, but online for free! We are already planning to offer you a tolkienan program with many participants. Follow the hashtags #TolkienTageOnline and #TolkienTrotztCorona to celebrate with us anyway! To make this happen, we also need money to pay for (broadcasting) licenses and equipment.

The regular "Offline" Tolkien Days will be postponed to 28th to 30th May 2021.
