News from Philip
Some time has passed since we last updated you on Philips's condition, but we are back with a bunch of good news to share.
Most importantly, Philip is doing good, and he is coping well with the changes through the colostomy. He is happy and smiling as always.
Philip and his mother stayed with Williams the first few weeks after the surgery but went back to their home village Awutu Mfafo by the end of September since they have been gone for a while. Philip was happy to be back and see his friends and family again. Also, the whole community was glad to welcome him back home in a much better medical condition.
Since then Williams visits them often in Awutu Mfafo and looks after Philip every now and then, as you can see in the pictures below.
Philip went through many checkups in the hospital since his colostomy in September, and through his medical reports, we can assure that his healing is going on well.
The next checkups will take place in January and the second surgery is planned for April 2021.
