A particularly important initiative that we would like to introduce is our cultural fund for people with dementia. This group often suffers from considerable social isolation because their illness limits their ability to participate in cultural and public life. We are passionate about ensuring that you and your relatives can experience dementia-sensitive cultural offerings. We want to ensure that they are not overlooked and that their needs and wishes are taken seriously.

 

We are also committed to building bridges between cultural providers and senior citizen assistance. At over 40 events a year in Nuremberg and Nuremberg Land, we help older, socially disadvantaged citizens with free tickets, cover the costs of transport services and coordinate time donors to accompany them. In addition, we provide volunteer cultural sponsors who make it possible to accompany people who need assistance to cultural events.

 

Your donation is invaluable in supporting life in old age in Nuremberg and counteracting loneliness in old age. Our cultural fund for people with dementia urgently needs further financial support in order to be able to continue this valuable work.
