GeMainsam - Together, sing with us in times of Corona

Like many choirs, the Corona pandemic is also causing problems for us: many resignations, no opportunities to rehearse, etc. Nevertheless, we wanted to do something to counteract the worries, loneliness and insecurity associated with the pandemic and at the same time celebrate the diversity of our city of Frankfurt. This us the idea for our virtual choir project "GeMainsam singen".
GeMainsam is a play on words, combining the German word for “together” (gemeinsam) and the name of the river Main, running through our beloved city. With our project we want to bring people from Frankfurt and their cultures closer together through singing. We will sing "Wie Sand" by Leontina Klein in a new, multilingual version and create a great video to go with it. 
This should bring joy and hope to all of us at this time, which is depressing for many.
Unfortunately, the restrictions of the pandemic have made it very difficult to realise the project, so that we have a funding gap. We would like to finish this great project, in which so many have participated, and we are looking forward to your support!
