Da viele Hunde im kommunalen Tierheim auf Rhodos an Leishmaniose erkrankt sind fallen hohe Kosten für die Medikamententherapie, Tierarzt und Diagnostik (z.B. Röntgen und Blutwertkontrollen) an. Um die Krankheit unter Kontrolle zu bringen und ihnen ein beschwerdefreies Leben zu ermöglichen sind wir auf Ihre Spenden angewiesen. 
Eine Impfung gegen Leishmaniose existiert noch nicht, sodass die Hunde auf eine Dauermedikation angewiesen sind. Die Krankheit kann damit wirksam unterdrückt werden. 
Jede Spende hilft, sei sie noch so klein. Sie sichern den Hunden eine bessere Zukunft.
