Recurring donation matching - how it works!

Which donations are matched?

All new monthly donations to projects on betterplace.org. Matching is capped at a maximum of 100 € per donor per project.

When will my monthly donation be matched?

We match 20 % of your donation once it has been charged for the third time. If you cancel your monthly donation before then, we cannot match it.

Can I make more than one monthly donation?

The maximum amount per donor per project is 100 €. If you set up monthly donations for different projects, up to 100 € will be made for each project.

Where does the money for matching come from?

The matching budget is made up of donations that were not requested by the original projects, as well as money provided by us directly. In this way, we ensure that the donations are still used for the good cause. Learn more.

We are a non-profit donation platform from Germany. To continue offering our platform to organizations, we also ask for a donation.

  • We provide our fundraising services completely free of charge to non-profit organizations, thereby strengthening civil society.
  • We make more out of a donation: e.g. through matching events and corporate partnerships.
  • We enable Germany's largest online fundraising events.
