We're running this May for Growing Tree Liberia!

I've been volunteering for Growing Tree Liberia (GTL) since its inception in the fall of 2016 because of its outstandingly clear vision and unique position, with on-site stakeholders, to create grassroots change that can truly make the world a better place. GTL is in the process of building a childcare center and planning to provide an education for vulnerable and neglected children, in particular orphans, at a site 45 minutes north of Monrovia in Bomi County, Liberia. Following the establishment of the childcare center, sustainable preventive and routine medical care for the surrounding rural area will become a priority.

I'll be running for GTL on the following dates this May to raise money for the project, and my kids will join me on the second of the two:

May 12 - S 25 Berlin half marathon
May 18 - Berlin Women's Race (Frauenlauf) 10k (and 500m or 1k for the kids)

Donating with betterplace.org is easy and secure.  The donations collected here can easily be transferred to GTL when the races are done.
